Welcome to Monavio. By using our service, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. About Monavio

Monavio ("we," "our," or "us") provides a personal finance tracking application available at monavio.app and through mobile applications (the "Service"). The Service helps you organize, track, and visualize your financial data.

IMPORTANT: Monavio is a financial tracking tool, not a financial advisor. We do not provide personalized financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Any information displayed is for informational purposes only.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Monavio. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

3. Your Account

3.1 Account Creation

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@monavio.app if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Monavio only for lawful purposes. You may not:

  • Upload malicious content or attempt to compromise the Service
  • Use the Service to violate any applicable laws
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code
  • Use automated tools to scrape or access the Service
  • Impersonate another person or entity

5. Your Data

5.1 Ownership

You retain ownership of all financial data you upload to Monavio ("Your Data"). We do not claim ownership of Your Data.

5.2 License to Us

By uploading data, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and display Your Data solely to provide the Service to you.

5.3 Data Processing

We use AI-powered technology (Google Gemini) to extract and categorize transactions from your uploaded statements. This processing is automated and occurs on secure cloud infrastructure.

5.4 Data Deletion

You may delete your account and all associated data at any time through the Settings menu or by contacting support@monavio.app.

6. Subscription and Payments

6.1 Free Trial

New users receive a 14-day free trial with access to all Pro features. No credit card is required to start a trial.

6.2 Subscription Plans

Monavio offers tiered subscription plans (Basic, Plus, and Pro) with varying features and pricing. Current pricing is available at monavio.app/pricing.

6.3 Billing

Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance. Payments are processed by Paddle.com, who acts as our Merchant of Record.

6.4 Refunds

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all subscription purchases. If you are not satisfied with Monavio, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your purchase date by contacting support@monavio.app. Refunds are processed back to your original payment method. 6.5 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Your access continues until the end of your current billing period.

6.6 Price Changes

We may change subscription prices with 30 days' notice. Price changes apply to your next billing cycle.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Rights

Monavio, including its design, features, and underlying technology, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. "Monavio" and the Monavio logo are trademarks of Monavio.

7.2 Feedback

If you provide suggestions or feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.

8. Third-Party Services

Monavio integrates with third-party services including Google Cloud, Firebase, and Paddle. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record for all payment transactions.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Transaction extraction will be 100% accurate
  • Financial calculations are error-free

YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR VERIFYING THE ACCURACY OF ALL DATA AND CALCULATIONS BEFORE MAKING FINANCIAL DECISIONS.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MONAVIO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
  • Damages arising from financial decisions made using the Service

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Monavio and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, but provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Panama. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Panama.
